All About VegFest London: Check Out the Vegan Food Festival this November
Fall is here and winter is near! Do you love experimenting with healthy food? Maybe you’re looking for new ways to experience London’s vegan and vegetarian scene this fall? Gearing up for World Vegan Month, VegFest London is THE place to explore vegan and vegetarian products.
Come out to the Western Fair District Agriplex on November 9th from 10-6 to try out a variety of plant-based foods, alternative treats, or even home goods from over 100 different vendors that are dedicated to helping others live a sustainable lifestyle. Starting in 2014, VegFest is dedicated to raising awareness of how lifestyle changes like becoming vegan or vegetarian can be a healthy option for you. In 5 years, their growth has been tremendous! All visitors are welcome as they encourage veg-curious people to “branch out” and try new things.
Be sure to stop by and visit some of our favourite local vendors that serve up healthy plant-based alternatives right here in our London, Ontario community.

Nuts For Cheese
Nuts for Cheese, founded by Margaret Coons, creates some of the best-tasting, gourmet vegan cheeses, using only the highest quality ingredients. Their vegan cheese is so good that they can now be found in over 1,200 stores across Canada! I love having this cheese alongside my grain-free vegan herb crackers or when making pizza.
Culture Shock Kombucha
Culture Shock Kombucha (CSK) is produced locally on the shores of Lake Huron in Grand Bend and can be found in many stores across Southern Ontario. They use only the finest ingredients including reverse osmosis water, organic tea and juice of freshly pressed organic whole foods. All of their products are raw, live, organic, gluten free, vegan, and packed with love.

Curley Brewing Company
Curley Brewing Company, located in Hyde Park, may be known for its nano-brewery, but their local, vegan menu is quite impressive too. Their walnut “taco meat,” housemade cashew mozza, BBQ pulled jackfruit, house-brewed kombucha on tap and locally roasted pour-over coffee are some favourites. They bring something very special and unique to London.
